In my world I have seen many things. They all lead in one direction…helping, guiding and healing in some way.
Not just for the living. Those in spirit sometimes need guidance too. They may be stuck and need assistance finding the light because they have unfinished business, or are worried about a family member. Others like hanging around and make the massive effort to cross back into this world because they enjoyed it, loved their homes, or simply like hanging around the living.
Those who are alive come to seek closure, get answers to questions, get guidance and sometimes just for the sake of curiosity. Regardless of the reason, someone or something always tends to show up.
I say something because the way I work tends to draw “uncommon spirits”….yes, those you would never think of. Past life selves, animals, creatures that you would only see in movies like star wars, Labyrinth, or lord of the rings. we have guides and guardians that literally come in all shapes and sizes that live to serve and work with us.
Those who come through for the living are always willing to lend a hand, give voice to the unknown, and rarely if ever feel put upon for it.
I have had people tell me that they are not work with angels because we are burdening them, or they are tricksters posing as pure beings. The latter is rarely the case and the truth is there is no mistaking the presence of an angel! trust me they are immense beings of light that may give one a headache because they are overwhelming in there energy, but mighty in how they make you feel their warmth and love.
And we are never burdening them. They are infinite in their love, compassion and generosity of giving. They are liminal beings that can be in limitless places, times, and dimensions all at once.
they are also made with this intent. They were and always will be angels, like guides are made guides, guardians are made guardians, and ancestors are just that…those we loved who have moved into spirit form.
Even those South American medicine people call spirit ancestors and family, those not related by blood…pets that have passed, friends, mentors etc. they all come to you when you need them or if you call.
Being specific on who you wish to aid you is always wonderful, but there are going to be times you don’t know who exactly to reach out too. This is when I like to say “I ask and give permission to all those of the light to…” this statement will call in whatever vibrations that are just right for your situation.
And remember to give permission. This is important because you have journey that those on the higher planes cannot interfere with. Giving permission allows them deeper access to bringing you aid.
In the end it boils down to the simplicity of always being courageous, open, and vulnerable enough to call on spirit. Speak to them the way you would speak to your best friend and know you are heard and that your desire will be answered, and you are loved.
